The Cleveland Cavaliers have advanced to their eighth consecutive NBA Finals after defeating the Boston Celtics 109-99 in Game 7 of the Eastern Conference Finals. LeBron James led the way for the Cavaliers, scoring 35 points and grabbing 15 rebounds. Kevin Love added 21 points and 12 rebounds, while Tristan Thompson contributed 10 points and 10 rebounds.
The Celtics were led by Kyrie Irving, who scored 24 points.Jayson Tatum added 21 points, and Al Horford had 17 points and 15 rebounds. However, the Celtics could not overcome the Cavaliers' size and experience in the paint. James and Love combined for 27 rebounds, while the Celtics' big men were outrebounded 51-38.
The Cavaliers will now face the Golden State Warriors in the NBA Finals. The series will begin on Thursday, May 31st.
