Early Life and Career

Connor Andrew McDavid was born on January 13, 1997, in Richmond Hill, Ontario, Canada. He began playing hockey at a young age and quickly displayed exceptional talent. McDavid played in the Ontario Hockey League (OHL) for the Erie Otters, where he won the OHL Rookie of the Year Award in his first season and the OHL Most Valuable Player Award in his second season.

NHL Career

McDavid was selected first overall by the Edmonton Oilers in the 2015 NHL Entry Draft. He made his NHL debut in the 2015-16 season and quickly became one of the league's top players.
