McDavid Sets New Playoff Record

Holloway Scores Twice, Skinner Makes 32 Saves

Connor McDavid scored and notched three assists to set a new playoff record, while Dylan Holloway scored twice and Stuart Skinner made 32 saves to help the Edmonton Oilers to an 8-1 victory over the Florida Panthers in Game 4 of the Stanley Cup Final on Monday night.

The Oilers, who trailed 3-0 in the series, dominated the Panthers from start to finish, outshooting them 39-33 and winning the faceoff battle 59% to 41%.

McDavid's record-setting goal came in the second period, when he took a pass from Holloway and beat Panthers goalie Sergei Bobrovsky with a wrist shot from the left circle.

Holloway added his second goal of the game in the third period, when he took a pass from McDavid and beat Bobrovsky with a backhand shot.

Skinner was solid in goal for the Oilers, making several key saves to keep the Panthers off the scoreboard.

The Oilers will now head to Sunrise, Florida, for Game 5 of the series on Wednesday night.
